Risotto- Pitch

I pitched all of my ideas for Risottos new notebook range 'jotta'. I set up an Indesign document and presented grabrilla a PDF of my thinking so far. She liked my ideas, and definitely felt like the jotta sould come in a box to be more of a keep sake thing and a notebook people are want to keep re using. Keeping to just 8 bases papers keeps it simple and Gabriella could have theses pre made so when she gets an order it can be processed quickly! Spiral bound is defiantly the best option as it allows the customer to get their paper in and out and re use the notebook regularly. The cover is the hardest thing to decide on, the hard back fabric cover will become dirty really quickly if used everyday as Gabriella intends, so I proposed the idea of having a sheet of assotate that's patterned to keep the jotta clean. My ideas went down really well and Gabriella is thinking of pricing the jotta at £20 which is a fair price considering moleskins are marketed at £13.99 and jotta is made to order. Once I had pitched until Friday I then decided on mocking up some of the features that could be included within the jotta! Features such as recipe cards, periodic tables, paper sizes, stencil bookmarks and rulers all of which are fun and functional. I began mocking up the yearly plan, the periodic table, the weekly agenda and recipe cards, all a5 that can be put on an a3 sheet to print.
