Chess Valley Male Voice Choir

I have been approached by a Choir to design them some word templates for a new poster, tickets, and programme. This is the brief that they have given me:

The choir is a Male Voice Choir of about 50 members based in Chesham. We need templates that can be used for Word. The Choir's title is Chess Valley Male Voice Choir and we prefer that to the abbreviation used in these examples. We must have the charity number on material. In these examples 'Popular songs' is the title of the concert we need that option plus a version without a title, we are open to using or not using a photograph.

You Tube videos of the choir in action are available on my channel : Jeremy Wyman

Let me know if you need any more information.

Here are some empales of the designs now

this is the tickets they currently use, personally I think they just need reorganising and to have better use of type hierarchy

This is their current poster, you can tell that it has been designed on word, I really hate everything about it. He wants a template that he can just edit over and over again, I am going to try and keep  the information clear and for the poster, programme and tickets to match.

This is the current inside of the programme he doesn't want this re designed but I think I might suggest a better font to keep it consistent.

This is the current logo, he doesn't want this changing, I think I can work with the colours in this

Here are the first drafts that I sent him

Designing on word and trying to make something look decent is the hardest thing ever. I have tried to keep it clean and clear to read as this is aimed at OAP's, I chose blue font to match their uniforms in the image.

After sending him these templates he requested a few changes
- for the title not to be abbreviated
-to have templates without colour
-no shadow on the title of the poster
-to have a poster with no photo
-date information larger

I acted upon these requests and created some more templates on Word and emailed him

These are the final designs that he wanted to go with.
