Card to Studio Morross

As Studio Moross is my favourite studio and Kate Moross has been one of my biggest inspirations for a long time I have decided to make and write them a message. I want the card to be bold bright and colourful here are some of my initial ideas.

I have took inspiration from Tyler Spangler's print 'wave', I particularly like his use of colour and the shadow on the type. 

Experiments with colour and making the lines bolder

I wasn't sure about having a white background so I experimented with other colours within the design and non of them worked out the way I would of liked. 

After much more experimentation this is the final colour palate and design I went for, I added white gaps in between each colour to break it up a bit, the font is a very simple 'Calabri' font. 

Here is the final reselution printed on card. On the front is the 'hello' on the inside is an image of me outside Kate Moross' studio when it was closed, I have also included icons of areas to contact me and the details.

I sent it all off in a bright green envelop as this will get noticed more 

What I would like to gain from sending this letter is a chance to visit Studio Moross or maybe even get placement, there is not much chance she will get back to me, but if I don't try I will never know.
